Kapiti – God’zone!
The Gateway Christian Community Church is a small, loving church held in the Senior Citizens hall every Sunday at 10am.
For me this has been a true centre for me to discover the power of god, and to be able to be productive in the furtherance of God’s kingdom. I’ve been around Christianity since I was 19 years old, but have only ever skimmed the surface. Never once had i plunged into the depths of theology, nor delved into the deep intimet love of God. I knew passages from the bible as many of us do, but no real knowledge.
The Love and welcoming people of this community church renewed my faith in God, and in his power within other people. Don’t get me wrong, not every post will be a positive one, but above all God will be glorified. Somedays I really struggle with being a christian, we live in sinful flesh, with desires and lusts. We sin as easily as breathing, but through the redeeming grace of God. I can and I will overcome.
As Job stated, God gives and God takes away, Praise be to God.
